The PSIA-AASI NRM Educational Foundation (NRM EF) was established in 1991 to serve the membership of NRM by providing financial assistance to those who seek to further their professional and personal goals to become more accomplished and effective Snowsports instructors by attending education events and attaining advanced levels of certification.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing. NRM EF is governed by the Education Foundation Committee under the supervision of the PSIA-AASI NRM Board of Directors.
Every year, NRM EF awards scholarships/grants to members and schools wishing to further their knowledge in alpine, adaptive, children’s, snowboard, freestyle, cross country and telemark education. Awards are made to NRM members and schools in good standing who show a willingness to partner with PSIA-AASI NRM to “create lifelong adventures in education” for our members and guests and assist our members in developing professionally and personally while creating positive, fun, learning experiences.
Scholarships/grants are funded through the generous donations of the sponsors listed above as well as individuals and members of PSIA-AASI. One of our fundraising events is the Fall Festival Silent Auction. To make a donation to the EF scholarship/grant fund or to donate goods or services to the silent auction, please contact the NRM Region office via this form or email.
