NRM Snowboard DCE Program
If you are an Snowboard level 3 certified member in good standing and are interested in furthering your education and working toward becoming an assessor, you will want to apply for the NRM Snowboard IT Program.
The IT (In Training) program is for members who wish to someday become divisional education or certification staff. This group has their own coach to help them work towards their goal. They work together as a group at fall training each season. The members are also encouraged to attend midseason training, observe divisional events whenever possible, attend Snowboard Committee meetings, and NRM board meetings.
In order to participate in this program, members must:
- Be a Level 3 member in good standing with AASI NRM
- Submit a Letter of Intent to the Snowboard Chair (nrm.snowboard@gmail.com) or the NRM region office (info@psia-nrm.org) before November 1 of the current year. The coach may follow this up with a phone interview.
This is not just a training program. Participation with this group signifies intent to apply for a job with NRM. Participants in the IT program who choose not to continue on this path will be directed towards other NRM training programs that fit closer to their goals.
